Please note that you are about to install beta software. Always back up your data and files before installing beta versions of iOS. We recommend that you do a backup using Finder. From your iOS device, go to BetaProfiles.dev to download the configuration profile. Your iOS device will notify you when the profile has been downloaded. Open Settings, tap the profile and follow the onscreen instructions to allow installation.
You can always delete this installed profile anytime you want to stop receiving beta updates. All you need to do is go through the Delete Profile page, which has all the instructions for each of your devices.
Once the beta is installed, it will come with a built-in Feedback Assistant app, which can be launched from the second page of your Home screen. When you come across an issue that needs addressing, send your feedback to Apple with Feedback Assistant.
Apple tends to release its newest betas every couple of weeks which means, if Apple sticks to that norm, we should expect it to release the next update on Wednesday, August 10. That would be the fifth release as we work our way towards an expected September release alongside a new round of iPhones.

Prior to iOS 16.4, it was necessary to download and activate a beta profile to your device. From iOS 16.4 onwards, Apple will simply check to see if your Apple ID is a registered developer and provide access in the Software Update menu. You may need to restart your iPhone for the option to appear.
