For Survival players. A patch that allows you to refill your canteen in any water source with purified water or dirty water (depending on the source). It uses in-game mechanism for refilling empty bottles. Requires main mod, which is Canteens of The Commonwealth
Fixed the issue with the quest being unable to start because of a missing checkbox on the new canteen object reference alias. Added checks for canteen object so that only one will remain in the inventory at all times. Filled the properties on the new sounds because I had forgotten to do that last time.
Details=======This mod adds several scripts to the game, and replaces the Misc Item Canteen with a piece of clothing. Equipping the Canteen will check if you have any water, and if you do, fill up the canteen with it. (At least one Purified Water is needed)
Known Issues or Bugs====================I'm not entirely sure, but I think the counter for how many uses the canteen has left resets every time you load the save. But it's not a really huge bug, and it won't affect the mod much. You never know, somebody might know how to resolve the issue.
As long as the canteen is kept in the Courier's inventory, they will take a sip from it every five minutes, restoring 15 HP and lowering Dehydration by 25 in Hardcore mode. An on-screen notification will tell the player character when this happens.
There is no way to forcibly take a drink, nor does the canteen ever run out of water. The five minute timer starts when the canteen is placed in the Courier's inventory (not when a save is loaded) and runs in the background, even while the Pip-Boy is up. Under certain circumstances, such as when sleeping or fast traveling right before the hydration level reaches the trigger point, the player character can skip this trigger point and become dehydrated.

There is no animation for taking a drink, nor does it interrupt any other action; amusingly, it can even happen while the Courier is attacking an enemy in V.A.T.S, or while the courier is under water.

Originally, the only way to acquire this canteen was by redeeming the code that came with the pre-order exclusive Classic Pack. It can now also be acquired by purchasing the add-on Courier's Stash.
Lehmann's Corsham project took eight months to complete and involved painting murals of six canteens. The oil paint used was supplied by the factory, and also used in the production of wartime aircraft.
As reported by Catford, the list of materials stored on the site by 1961 gives some indication as to its sheer scale. Kitchen and dining equipment included: 225 canteen tables, 2,320 dinner plates, 2,320 tea cups, 1,152 tumblers, and 11 tea trolleys.
Blast-proof and self-sufficient, the complex could accommodate up to 4,000 people in complete isolation from the outside world for up to three months. The underground city was equipped with all the facilities needed to survive: from hospitals, canteens, kitchens and laundries to storerooms for supplies, accommodation areas and offices.[8] An underground lake and treatment plant could provide drinking water, and twelve tanks could store the fuel required to keep the four generators in the underground power station running for up to three months. The air within the complex could be kept at a constant humidity and heated to around 20 C (68 F). It was also equipped with the second-largest telephone exchange in Britain, a BBC studio from which the PM could address the nation, and an internal Lamson Tube system that could relay messages throughout the complex, using compressed air.[9]
To urinate or to refill your canteen you have to turn on the survival functions menu. You do it by holding RS on a controller or P on the keyboard. When you do that two options will appear that are both self explanatory. 153554b96e
