Thanks for making this news.It has been for several decades that Thai slaved ships are dehumanizing Burmese, Cambodian, neighboring countries. It is the fact that the immigrant workers who work in the fish auction markets.A documentary, called Life in the Sea by Irrawaddy Magazine (www.irrawaddy.org) was just released. You could watch it at the following links. (However it is in Burmese). =Yq1ekKNdwKw&feature=channel_video_titleIt shows that how tough is the life of workers on the Thai fishing ship, much more than slaves. They have to work days and night at the fear of Burmese navy in the Burma's sea.Thailand does not have abundance marine resources and the only fishing ground is Burma. The Thai trawlers slaved Burmese workers and they sneaked into Burma's sea. Then workers explained in the documentary that they were shot by the Burmese Navy patrol. They had to hide several days under the water until some fishing boats came to rescues them. Some of them were shot and died at sea.The workers in the fish markets who do separation of fish had to work several hours a day for (5000 baht salary). The entire fishing industry in Thailand has been exploiting cheap labors from Burma and stealing Burma's marine resources. They established many frozen factories in Mahachai areas where millions of Burmese are working in the factories. They were paid 40 baht a day (working from 8 am to 11:00 pm) comparing with minimum wage of 120 baht a day by Thai law.In fact, the sea foods you are eating have \"dead labor\".The blood, the life, and the smell of dehumanizer.Luckily I am vegetarian.
